QUEEN’S PARK — MPP Lisa Gretzky challenged the Minister of Infrastructure to explain why people in Windsor are paying $400-per-household to build a mega-spa at Ontario Place they may never visit.
“We have an affordability crisis and the number of people relying on food banks is at an historic high across the province. We have the highest unemployment rate in the country, and a government that is failing to deliver affordable housing leading to a record number of people experiencing homelessness. Meanwhile, the Premier is charging every household in my riding, and Windsor-Tecumseh and Essex, $400 to fund his luxury spa project in downtown Toronto.”
