WINDSOR – Windsor West MPP Lisa Gretzky will recognize the brave bystanders whose quick action helped save a family from a tragic car accident in Windsor last weekend.
The crash, which occurred Saturday evening on Tecumseh Road East near McDougall, left multiple family members seriously injured. Both Nico Silvio Verrelli and Ali Abu Khazneh rushed to the scene, pulling victims from the burning vehicles and preventing an even greater tragedy.
MPP Gretzky will be joined by the local heroes to honour their courage and selflessness in the face of danger who will also be open to speaking to media.
